People can easily break into apartments and it worries Marcus to think of anyone alone in theirs on a night like what he believes to be coming. There's no proof it's going to be as bad as he thinks, but Molly had seemed genuinely frightened and that's enough for Marcus to believe it's something to worry about.

At the question, though, he still manages a grin.

"A general disregard for their rules?" he suggests. "Insubordination? An inability to keep my mouth shut? Or maybe it's just that they found my excommunication papers. Take your pick."
